My initial step involved creating a preliminary sketch of my logo for the documentary "Eternal Tides," focusing on a detailed wave to align with the ocean theme. By opting for a monochromatic sketch without colors, I allowed the core idea to take shape. To enhance visual appeal and uniqueness, I strategically added colour to the circular elements of the text, creating a captivating effect. This approach not only makes the logo more eye-catching but also aligns with the theme of my documentary about oceans. The incorporation of colour serves to highlight specific features and adds a layer of visual interest, contributing to the overall distinctiveness of the logo.
Final outcome
In finalizing my logo, I chose a dark blue colour to reflect the ocean theme. The wave drawing has a bold dark blue outline, while the interior is lightly shaded with the same hue, adding depth. The logo name, "Eternal Tides," is outlined in the matching dark blue, creating a cohesive and eye-catching design. This choice of a unified colour palette aims to evoke the vastness of the ocean, aligning well with the documentary's focus on marine environments.
